Ugh, what a brutal loss last week. But hey, it’s not the end of the world, and definitely not the end of the season.

Especially with a rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Your Denver Broncos travel to Arrowhead Stadium to face their toughest division rival in an afternoon game at 2:25pm, and the Chiefs also suffered a heartbreaking loss last week.

Kansas City fell to fellow AFC West stalwart, the San Diego Chargers, in a back-and-forth battle ending with Philip Rivers throwing a touchdown pass to Seyi Ajirotutu with 24 seconds left in the fourth quarter, putting the Chargers ahead for good, 41-38. Alex Smith and Jamaal Charles led the offensive charge for Kansas City, with Smith throwing for 294 yards and 3 touchdowns, and Charles rushing for 115 yards on 14 carries. with two touchdowns of his own. \

However, Denver may have underwent a more bitter defeat, leading the New England Patriots by a score of 24-0 going into halftime, only to fall in defeat, 34-31 in overtime. You already know about the controversial punt return gone awry. We can only blame Wes Welker, Tony Carter, or whomever for so long. It’s time to put this behind us as Broncos fans. Moving on.

Both teams are somewhat banged up, and will not have all their stars in the game. On the Kansas City side, Tamba Hali should be active for the game after experiencing a sprained ankle last week. However, Justin Houston will not play this week. Hali and Houston have accounted for 20 sacks between the two of them. For Denver, Derek Wolfe suffered a seizure not too long ago, and has been ruled as inactive. Knowshon Moreno had an MRI on his right ankle, and although it showed no major injury, Moreno is not likely to play. Champ Bailey with a banged up foot and Julius Thomas with a banged up knee are expected to take the field this afternoon.

Needless to say, this is the game that could decide who gets the upper hand in the AFC West. Tune in wherever you are and as always, GO BRONCOS!
